Our Story
Colonial Security Services, a member of the Enhancity family of companies, has been delivering premier security and concierge services since 1990. Originally founded as an extension of Eastern Janitorial Services (est. 1954), we were created to meet the growing needs of clients seeking comprehensive property solutions.
EJS identified a growing need among its clients for security and concierge services, prompting its founders, the Weiner Family and Gene Pendyke, to collaborate with law enforcement professionals. This partnership emphasized advanced training and education to deliver top-tier services.
Building on this foundation, Colonial integrated Dale Carnegie training programs to combine law enforcement expertise with exceptional customer service and leadership. Following EJS’s evolution into Enhancity, Inc., Colonial and its sister companies adopted the Enhancity brand, strengthening their unified mission.
Today, Colonial Security and the Enhancity family remain dedicated to excellence, offering unparalleled service at every level.
