Our Colonial Security area managers are key to the branch office operations and are responsible for day-to-day client site operations and employee relations. Area managers are fully mobile and equipped with the latest in productivity tools and resources. The dynamic Area Manager Dashboard provides visibility to your current and future staffing needs, contract performance, call-off tracking, and training opportunities. Your area manager will meet with your on-site representatives and assigned CSS employees at least twice per month to ensure we are performing to your expectations. We use a centralized operational program to ensure field teams can focus on your needs without being bogged down with administrative duties.
Training & Development
Property, safety, and lives depend upon how well officers understand instructions and apply training. Through a combination of pre-assignment coursework, tailored on-site instruction and continuing education, Colonial Security prepares our officers to join your security program and further hones their skills and effectiveness.
Recognizing that people learn through different methods and techniques, we use multiple learning tools and approaches to ensure training is provided per contract terms and understood by the security officer.
Our customer service training module, designed by Dale Carnegie (How to Win Friends and Influence People), focuses on preparing officers to deliver a great customer experience. With an emphasis on the skills needed to build external and internal relationships, we teach team members to exceed customer expectations, initiate new services, and strengthen customer ties. We enable people to succeed by utilizing Carnegie’s proven concepts of human behavior to create more confident, engaged and enthusiastic teams.
