Identify staffing requirements. Review in detail the status of current staffing, including retaining existing Security Officer personnel based on your recommendation and approval. Security officers interested in staying will be interviewed. Determine the benefits currently in place and provide equivalent package. Analyze site conditions and any current performance deficiencies. Start to develop there-year security plan.
(8-14 Days)
Implement plan for recruitment that includes reviewing the existing officers that show interest in remaining and start hiring for vacated positions. Use screen-in methods to attract the best candidates. Start the selection process.
(15-21 Days)
Select officers and begin background and medical investigations. Order uniforms. Inform all officers of benefits and expected decorum while employed by Colonial Security Services.
(22-28 Days)
Implement training criteria and formulate training program for site-specific training. Selected security officers are trained on Colonial Security Service culture, standards, and ethics, in addition to your required training criteria.
(29-30 Days)
On-the-job training. Colonial Security Service start date.
(31-37 Days)
Make any necessary adjustments to the security program (personnel, paperwork, standard operating procedures, etc.) Retain training history of current staff and begin a file for new recruits. Determine criteria for bench marking purposes. Develop test on the standard operating procedures and training checklist. Start remedial training for any security officer that requires it.
(38-60 Days)
Complete bench marking process and security plan.
(61 Days to 3 Years)
Stay the course of the plan and continue with quality bench marking of services.
